We host a variety of events—think book club gatherings, birthday parties, bridal showers, corporate team outings, or just a fun night with friends. If books and a little sparkle are your vibe, we can make it happen.

Private events include one hour of guest shopping time, plus setup and teardown by our team. Want to keep the party going? You can extend your event by adding extra hours, with each additional hour tied to a higher minimum spend.

We bring the Sugar and Spice mobile bookstore to you (within 15 miles of Nashville), handle setup/teardown, and provide a bookseller to help your guests browse and shop. Additional customization options are available upon request.

Each private event requires a $750 minimum spend. If sales during your event don’t reach that amount, the balance will be charged to the credit card on file.

Yes! Beyond book shopping, we can add interactive touches like book bedazzling, themed photo moments, or curated book bundles for your guests.

The first 15 miles roundtrip from Nashville are included. For events farther out, we’re happy to provide a custom travel quote based on your location.

The more, the merrier! 🎉 Whether it’s an intimate gathering with a few friends or a large celebration, we can scale the experience to fit your guest list. The truck works beautifully for both smaller groups and bigger events where lots of people can pop in and shop.

We primarily serve Nashville and the surrounding areas, but are open to traveling for special occasions. Reach out and let’s see what we can arrange!

We typically need about 1.5 hours for setup and 45 minutes for teardown. We’ll coordinate with you in advance so everything is smooth and stress-free.

Because books and heavy moisture don’t play well together, we may need to switch to an indoor setup or reschedule if the weather isn’t cooperating. Light rain is usually fine with proper coverage, but we’ll work with you to make sure your event (and the books!) are protected.
